On Friday we ate lunch at The Blue Nile an Ethiopian restaurant. We've been wanting to do this for awhile now and were so excited to finally get the chance. It was fun to experience the style of eating with the injera (flat bread like stuff that you use to eat with). Melanie, Jack and I really liked the food. Henry and Eli decided they wanted forks after their first bite, but they did try everything.
The sampler platter was excellent and was plenty for all of us.

Jack feeding a goat. He found out how hungry they really get. It was kind of like a scene out of a horror movie when someone falls into water with a bunch of hungry piranas, except they were goats and it wasn't in water, but you get the idea.
My sister is getting ready to move to Niger with the peace corps and recently ate at Blue Nile. This past week she and I took a trip to KC and ate at another Ethiopian restaurant called Duo. She thought it was better than Blue Nile!
