It's one of my favorite times of the year. The weather is cool and our Saturday mornings are spent watching the boys play soccer. This is a sport that our whole family enjoys, even Melanie looks forward to it. Jack and Eli are on the same K-2nd grade team with several friends from church and school. This is Eli's first year playing and after a little bit of a rough start he is getting in there and giving it a go. This is Jack's third year of playing and he is like a whole different kid out there. He is playing really well, which probably has quite a bit to do with the fact that he plays everyday at recess and any other time he gets a chance.

This is Henry's fourth year playing soccer. He is on a 3rd-5th grade co-ed team and has a classmate on his team. Henry is playing well and seems to like playing on defense the best.

The last three weeks after soccer and eating lunch Jack has mowed the front yard. He has needed less help each week and is really enjoying the sense of accomplishment from a little hard work.

Henry has been mowing the back yard and doing a great job. He can practically do it without any help at all. It has also been interesting the last couple of weeks he has been in a pretty bad mood before mowing the yard, but after he gets done he is like a new kid. I don't know if it is the satisfaction of a job well done or what it is, but it has been pretty cool. Needless to say, I am a really proud dad.
