Last weekend, we took our annual trip to KC. We go every year at the end of summer to see family and enjoy fun KC together. This year the kids and mom's went to see the Smurf movie and enjoyed the cool movie theater air while the Dad's and Grandpa's went to train hobby shops. We also went to see Arabia Steamboat Museum and to Union Station to see small working models of old roller coasters that have been at Worlds of Fun (this produced a fun trip down memory lane for all us mom's and dad's). While at Union Station we also got to see the model train display and discovered a new favorite, a full size train simulator. The kids could have spent an hour or more on and around this loud rumbling engine. We also enjoyed playing baseball and kick ball when we were around the house. We all had a great time!
