Dossier certification trip

Thanks to our friend Kendra we had all our notaries done correctly and drove to Topeka Monday to have our dossier certified by the Secretary of State. It turns out one of the documents we paid to get a certified copy of was done wrong. After a few heart stopping moments, Georgia informed us we could walk across the street and get a new one. Praise God! Thank you Kendra. This would have been a mess if we had mailed it to Topeka. After we finished we were able to have lunch with Melanie's brother Brian and see their cool new house. Thanks again for lunch Brian. We then sent our dossier to CHI. Today Angie from CHI informed us that everything is in order and our dossier will be sent to the courier tomorrow to be authenticated by the U.S. Department of State. This can take up to two weeks. Once this is done we will be on the waiting list for our children. This feels like one big giant step forward. Woo Hoo!
