Labor Day Memories

For Labor Day this year we spent the day fishing with family. We made a lot of memories!

Memory #1 - Jack caught a fish before anyone else even got their line in the water. It was the only fish caught (unless you count Grandpa's 2 inch fish).

Memory #2 - Grandma pulled the kids in a wagon and then let them pull her. Very brave considering the nice down hill slope entering the water.

Memory #3 - We tried to block the wind so we could enjoy a picnic, and ended up forming a wind tunnel with 2 vans. We got creative and shut a blanket in the back door of each van to block the wind.

Memory #4 - Lincoln fell/went in the water and got very muddy & wet.

Memory #5 - One of the men on the trip (who we won't mention) was being a great uncle helping Henry not break his line and ended up breaking Henry's rod. :) No problem, Grandpa had an extra.

  1. Looks like everyone had fun even if Jack is the only one who did catch a fish.
