We spent Saturday morning at the Easter Sun Run. The event is put on to raise money for Youth Horizons, an organization that helps at risk youth by providing them with mentors. Our church runs the event and Brent has been in charge of organizing people to lead and trail the walkers and runners on their bikes. It has become a tradition for the boys to ride with Brent at the end of the 2 mile walk. Then lunch is served to everyone at the park. It is so fun to be a part of. Brent's parents each got 1st place in their age group for the walk and my mom got 3rd in her age group in the 2 mile run. Good job Grandma's and Grandpa!
Sunday we went to my parents church and spent the day at their house with my sister Rashelle and her family.
The kids decorated eggs, while we hid plastic ones in the basement.
The boys had a great day!
