We are way behind on our posts, but this one is too important to wait for, so it will just be out of order.
Thanks to our neighbor Billy showing up last week without training wheels, Eli decided he wanted to try. Tonight he finally did it. By the time he got to the neighbors on the very first try he was riding without any help. The picture is on the return trip he had already turned around by himself and was leaving me in the dust.
Eli spent about a hour riding his bike nonstop, this is more than all his training wheel rides combined. We had to finally bring him in for a shower and bed. He can't wait to get up and ride again tomorrow. It's going to be a fun summer of bike rides. Eli is stubborn and not very adventurous, so it's not a real positive combination. Our prayer is that this giant step riding his bike will show him trying new things has big rewards.
See you on the bike path,
Brent.
Way to go Eli!!! Looks like you've got some skills. A bike ride with the Coppock cousins is on our Summer Fun list...looks like you'll be able to lead the way.
